2tongues Are the Sport Max not semi- run flats? and SP 01 normal? If so is there a difference between the front and back causing this issue?

i feel sure Sport Max can be run flat for a limited distance at low speed.

I dont think they are semi run flats but not sure those differents will cause the problems I am having though.

I'm pretty sure you can get the Sport Maxx as a non-runflat - I think the XF my brother just bought is on Sport Maxx tyres but not run-flats.

I think you need the XL tyres on the IS, but not sure if the dunlops are available as both XL and non-XL so have a look at the tyres to be sure.

so did this fault happen after the bent TRE, and what tyres were you running before this happened??
It appears the fault manifested after steering work before any tyre issues were looked into!

Have you checked the bushes in the steering rack mounting for wear, was it a used rack or new that you replaced it with??

Before finding out the TRE was bend, the problem I had was that I felt like i was driving in a crosswind, called Lexuz and was told to check my tyres and then fould out about the iiner wear on my fronts so had the fronts changed to Michellins but still no changes to the drive called Lexus again and was told to get alignment dont went to a local tyreweb to do alingnment but was told that my TRE was bend and then took it to Lexus to get that replaced. the tyres I had before was Dunlops.

Got it replaced at Lexus so assuming they were new as the cost were arond £2800. Personally I have not checked the bushes but did ask Lexus if they were ok and was told it was fine and did ask them to see if there was any wear and tear on the ball joints and the suspension linkage.

Only other option you have is to bite the bullet and pay an hrs labour at a Lexus dealer for diagnoses on the reason what is causing this instability,
Then pay for the repair, if it is not rectified then dont pay for the repair
