Could the huge price hike be because I'm now outside Admiral's target demographic?
Just tried to get a new quote online on their website and after just putting in my name, date of birth and postcode it says it can't give me a quote online. However if I change my date of birth to 10 years younger or 10 years older then it goes to the next page.
Also noticed that on the comparison sites I get a quote from Elephant and Bell, but not Admiral?
Well just been shopping around this morning and it seems like insurance prices have really risen this year, there's a massive hike all round.
However been on the phone to Admiral and they've matched the Elephant price of £564 so I think I can manage the £5 rise from last year
I actually cried with laughter when I got my renewal this month, £2024 (came to £2.5k if I wanted to protect my NCB) Directline wanted. 23 with no points/convictions and 4 years no claims. Renewed with Adrian Flux @ £1050 and they allow mods.
Best bit was when I had to ring Directline to cancel my automatic renewal, took me ages to get through. I wonder why
My insurance on the IS200 Sport, fully Comp, protected NCB et. is £215.00 this year and that's with an SP30. Same cover with the same Company for the IS-F is a bit more expensive at £389.04
Be honest though Terry - you're 84 years old aren't you?

Tango Well give or take 30 years :whistling: Obviously being eligible for Saga Insurance has it's advantages
...and I still have my own teeth and hairiscoStu:
