Yes it was doing it before the fcd was fitted. When I first mounted the Supercharger on the cradle I hooked up the bypass to stop it from falling down, this is when it first happened so I disconnected it and no fault.

what is the current state of the supercharger? ie connected, spinning, what?

it you have the belt off, fcd off, and the bypass valve attached to the throttle then its starving the engine.
If you have the belt on, bypass on, but no FCD your overloading the engine.

At the mo I got supercharger spinning, fcd connected set to 8 and bypass cable off, no probs but no increase in power, but with bypass on I get more power but cuts out at hard throttle

I'll try it again on nine and reset for 15 and see I this works. Should I fit the bov?

My car behaved the same way when I fitted my supercharger for the first time. It turned out the bypass valve closed too early and the reason was that I fitted this little thingie (component marked in red) on top of the metal plate with the two screws rather than under it. After relocating it I never went into limp mode again.

Also, are you sure the FCD is connected the right way?
