I have nothing rational to say. Burn the garage to the ground would be the only option!!!
Hope you get it sorted with minimal hassle!

Similar thing happened to me once when my starlet turbo was in getting tyres the idiot doing it scraped it on a ramp - and the worst thing was I was in the viewing area at the time and heard the noise - didn't actually see it happen .. To be fair though they did knock a bit of the tyre bill and then paid for the paint job - one complete wing and also got them to cover the bill for painting another panel that had a light scratch on it already so was happy at the end of the day but still had the hassle factor etc. Hope it all works out for you.

^^ what my initial thoughts were. Apparently not though.

totally worn out and broken, shouting 'Holy ****, WHAT A RIDE!'"

I hope they're going to sort it for you, that's taken a fair whack! Sad One reason I always stay with my cars when I go for an MOT, I trust no one!

Cheers everyone.. usually my mechanic stays with my cars but he was busy this time.. he feels terrible .. but there's no mechanical damage, thank god .. I was so worried it would be a very expensive job and the MOT station would want to go insurance only as they would probably write it off.. Luckily it's just a wing & paint and wheel alignment for my own piece of mind.

The wings arrived, car went to the bodyshop today so with a bit of luck I might have her back end of the week if they can squish her in their workload.

It definitely wasn't a ramp, they use pits. It's a vectra that hit me apparently, I don't suppose that customer is lucky enough to have another car to use! I pointed out that having had a vectra myself I had no issues with blind spots, specially big enough to hide a supra in!

Several people have told me it possibly wasn't too fast as these wings do just crumple... so I am far less stressed about it than I was but once I have seen the guys £££'s I do have plenty to say!

Huge thanks to Fluff, Dan TurismO and Toxo for calming me down and listening to me cry xxx
