I always use genuine filters on mine. Can never be too sure with aftermarket.

I try and do the same Stav,

its a bit of a weird on John most of if not all the Honda models use the same oil filter except the s2000, i just like to use what was designed to be part of the package from Honda and some times being at 9000rpm, i wouldnt like to use a filter that im not sure will flow enough for my engine.

It is an odd thing I would like to know what its all about? I too like to use original parts where possible. Except for Nissans brake pads as since I've put my wheels on I've noticed they are the dustiest things in the world! Lol

Ok nothing major to update but have done a few little things, i made an airfilter box thinghy out of aluminium to keep the filter away from exhaust as there was nothing there at the moment it is just something i wanted k&n do one but quite expensive and nobody wants to sell one with out the rest of the kit

i made a cardboard template then mocked it up in aluminim then test fitment before welding it up better and powdercoating

Not been on here in a while but been talking to a guy from here so i thought i would pop back

Still have the s2000 but i crashed it 30th Sept 2016 been rebuilding it over the winter again. The car will mainly for a track car but may see the road to get to tracks and see some tuners

i have been getting into motorsport and track days over the last year and so as a friend is racing in Time Attack and i have been helping in the pit garage so learning in that field is great and getting to know the people involved. Friends car is not going to be ready for the Practice of the season so he will be using the s2000 for practice if anyone is around Cadwell park on 29th of March come and say hi

anyway we all like pictures
