A Cat D is recorded.
A Cat C has to have a VIC (Vehicle Identification Check) test before it can be put on the road. A lot of people think this is some form of gruelling test. It is simply to check the chasis numbers all match up.

i guess all will depend on when the engineer gets his finger out and looks at it.gives me a phone and i can say on your bike or not lol. realy fancy somthing else now was thinking a r32 r33. as a toy for just me.

mines a cat d as I bought it damaged and it was my project. as anees said a cat d is recorded but doesnt need s VIC check to put it back on the road, only an mot, but a cat c needs a VIC check as well as mot to put it on the road.

well after a phone call to the bodyshop. why do i have to chase them up. they are going to sort the car,oh not before i pay out £221 because of the induction kit,my fault i guess but total pain in the **** that was not needed before xmas.and was not my fault in the first place.i can see this is going to be a nightmare.all i can say is god help them if that car is not 110% when they say it's ready to pick up.

oh and i will need a new shiny radiator cover it got crashed.suprise the insurance never said that was a mod too.:angry:
