if you can buy something like a fezza FXX, look at its geometry setup, note it down

then replicate it on you car,

gives you a much better base than the stock settings of everything else Wink

I doubt the FXXs geo setup would work on an IS-F :whistling:

but its a very good base.....

if you take something stock, you have to tweak it ALOT to get it correct

the settings from asomething like a ferrari or even a lambo or any of the racing cars, will be alot closer to what you need

eg, you have massive understeer, instead of tweaking it 45 times to get it where you want it, laod the FXX settings and probably only need to do it 2/3 times?

always works for me on Forza and previous GT's

on a side note, the settings for the ascari worked first time on my jag x-f Big Grin

That's quite interesting, because technically it makes no sense! The weight distribution, wheelbase, track width, power - there's so many factors that must be so different between a "normal" car and something like an FXX.

we had some good fun last night, cameron joined me and oli for a bit, but cam only has a nissan micra as his own car so when we did a race with our own cars, me and oli used our isf's against the micra, i decided i was going to help cam go a little bit faster so i sat behind him and it took 10minutes to push cams micra around the track with some j turns and doughnuts on the straights, then we had a mess about in fiat 500's which was stupid.

true,

but i think the level of which the game can recreate the real world effects is limited, especially as their is no real way to test it without going in and out dummy runs all the time

as an example a stock isf camber may be set to i dunno 2degrees but still experiences understeer, and fxx may be set to 7degrees,

to eliminate the understeer on an isf you may need 6 degrees,

so stock fxx settings are closer than stock fxx, if you see my logic??

i think in real worl it would never work,

but the games arent as realistic as they make out Wink

PS: any change you make to a car on the game is only done by algarithms and probability, as they wont take every car in real life and test it on all varied settings,

they will only test it as stock and then computer generate the changes,

so you change toe in, it probably wouldnt have the same effect in game as in real life
