Crash for cash scams and stuff like that causes the risk to be higher in certain areas
I live in a nice area but its group E postcode
I when I was shopping around for my renewal I used my girlfriends postcode (group B) just to see what the difference would be and it was about 50% less
Mine is apparently a D despite being essentially a suburban part of edinburgh...
Those grades are stupid though, where my parents live (nice quiet suburb) is a D, and my apartment in the centre of London is an F yet my insurance premium went down when I moved my insurance to the city address.
Both are great areas though so arguably it's silly that they're ranked so low, other than that they're in London which is just inherently riskier than some sleepy village in the middle of nowhere.
im in a b part woopwoop...if my insurance gets any cheaper they will be paying me......lol
:Chair: ormi
parthiban Could the huge price hike be because I'm now outside Admiral's target demographic?
Just tried to get a new quote online on their website and after just putting in my name, date of birth and postcode it says it can't give me a quote online. However if I change my date of birth to 10 years younger or 10 years older then it goes to the next page.
Also noticed that on the comparison sites I get a quote from Elephant and Bell, but not Admiral?
