lookatmybiceps went for a run the pipe was close to the air con pump scuffed a bit and i think i hit fuel cut, as i floored it in 3gear as speed was picking up it made a woosh sound and it was like i slamed the brakes on for a second, is the chip still not wired right it seems fine apart from this, i conected the 2 senor wires to blue with yellow strip on the ecu and there are 2 wires this color and im prety sure thats how aj had it wired looking at the pics

I remember the fuel cut coming in somewhere in the mid revs, but it should also give an engine fault light, IIRC, "Inlet manifold pressure too high," or something similar is what the fault code translates to, if the ECU wiring is not right (or not present at all).
I would have a word with Patrick, if you still can't get this to work, as his boxes are the best solution.
But black smoke and the engine cutting out when you turn sound worrying to me (though I am no expert). It shouldn't run lumpy though, even with no ECU modification at all it should still run and tick over smoothly, until you hit a certain boost level, (which will be at least a 2-3 thousand rpm, maybe more) and then it will boost cut.
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but have you been resetting the ECU each time you have changed the wiring? Either leaving the battery off for a while, or pulling two (can't remember which two) fuses?
Rabster did you cut the wire from the ecu ?
basically putting the chip in line with the wiring ?

You need to leave the battery disconnected for a while (20 mins maybe?) to actually reset the ECU, though I don't think that is the issue here.
You should not really hit the fuel cut at all, at any revs, although it sounds like you box is mostly, but not entirely, working!
I think Rabs means it should be wired in series, not parallel?
okjust ran outside to get some pics

the two blue with yellow are on the ecu and i have connected them to the red with yellow stripe and brown on the dastek, the other wires are power
you need to cut the wires from the ecu
red and yellow if memory serves from the removal goes towards the ecu on the cut wire the other colour to the loom which is the rest of the car
