Ok the last few days the Toyota car battery in my car has started to give up and it is dying slowly. After 5 years of operation I think it is time to buy a new one. I was looking for a smaller and ligther in size battery. Do you have any suggestions? From a short research I did on the web I found the following interesting batteries:

Buddy club:

Red Optima:

I am open to any of your suggestions!

I have heard of the Red Optima's before and heard they were a good battery but have no first hand experience!

The Optima battery's are very good mate, the jap tuner style at the top usually have quite low CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) and its always better to get one with the higher CCA if possible?(for a good clean start of the engine) The Optima battery's usually have a good deep cycle recovery so if they do go low on power they will recover better than the smaller one, plus most optima battery's will hold a certain voltage for a lot longer period when being used without running the engine :thumbup1:

Think i should get a job for Optima battery's :laugh:
