Lcd hd tv
Lcd hd tv
nomate thats pretty good tbf
thanks for the help
i think to begin with i will plump for an ex-catalogue LG 37" LCD full HD item from ebay, but only because it comes with warranty
if its not up to scratch then i'll send it back or sell it on probably what i paid for it
so long as theres a warranty and returns period its a good way of testing the water on cheaper items etc.
I like clear HD pictures etc but im not that into it that im gunna quible over a few minor points and spend the extra £300 to get over it, if that makes sense
if it doesnt go well then i will have to save a bit longer and pay up for a more decent one
thanks wozzai plan to test the hell out of it when it arrives
will pinch the bluray player from living room, already got an xbox up there, have recoorded some HD footy etc
so should be all set,
The TV I got above cost £400, but you can get it for around £350 online if you go for the 550 (I wanted the 554 as it looks slightly different and is exclusive to Comet) and the 37" version is probably just over £400.
I wouldn't get the ex-catalogue stuff unless it's a considerable saving (which I'm guessing it is?) unless you can return it simply if you don't like it? With all the dead pixel policies out there it can be annoying if you end up with a number of dead pixels on the screen and can't do anything about it.
And as Wozza said, AV Forums is a fountain of information for this sort of thing
i can get a 37" LG off ebay for around £260 with full 12 month warranty and 14 day no quibble return policy,
have jsut been copying and pasting model numbers into av forums lol, LG seems to get decent reviews.
I wouldnt risk the money if it was un-returnable
Ok that is actually a bargain, so go for it. Yep LGs are very good quality compared to their price, and at £260 it's definitely worth a punt. Let us know how it is when it arrives!
