yemgi The cats have been welded by JE Import Performance in the States. They are indeed installed where the lambda sensor originally was. It has been relocated further with a 90 degrees bunge. There are picture on page 3 of this thread. For some reason my phone does not want to copy paste the link.
The first emission test in France is on the 4th year so I will have to wait one more year to know the results.
PPE option is indeed similar to what I have,it is a pair of high flow cats to be welded to the exhaust.
Thanks Yemgi, I see them now. Seems strange that Joe hasn't provided an option for cats in his system considering most of those sold have been fitted to road cars, including his own. You were lucky to find that used system available with them already welded in.

Agreed, there is definately a demand for 'road legal' exhaust systems in the US as well. The Californian laws are nearly as strong as European ones regarding emissions
