Slammed on the anchors which was a hairy experience with the cold tyres and brakes but got stopped just in time, put my full beams on and hand on the horn and only then saw her look in her door mirror and notice I was there!
What made it worse was having pulled into the right lane she continued on at the same speed 40mph (50mph limit) and also seemed to think it was my fault somehow and refused to move left. With me still flashing my lights she sort of half moved over to straddle both lanes and then came back again...........it was finally after maybe about 30 seconds than she moved back to the left lane where she stayed after that.
What are these people thinking and why do they hunt me out? :blink:

Had a genuinely scary moment this morning, as usual on the A406, traffic was unusually light, I was in the right lane with no cars ahead of me, spotted a RAV4 in the left lane but nothing in front of that either and it was going really slowly so didn't give it much thought either.

toxo In terms of people sitting in the right hand lane of a dual carriageway when the left lane is empty, there is no worse place!! I saw someone do this 3 roundabouts in advance at the weekend!!Lol that sounds like a place I would have some serious trouble in :biggrin:

You'd hate MK drivers Parthiban, only about one in ten cars goes round a roundabout in a lane and then it's doubtful it's the correct lane. No-one understands the concept of a feeder lane at all and few people seem to know the grid system is mostly national speed limit so they're either driving at 30mph or 130mph in a 60 or 70 limit. And you wonder why I'm a bit nuts lol [/COLOR]

Yes, I can almost get the Fester up to 70 inbetween roundabouts :lol: It turns driving into seeing how much speed you can carry through roundabouts and how good you are at judging traffic in front of you
Usually in MK for example it is faster to be in the left hand lane to go straight on (presuming you're on a dual carriageway) because the right hand lane is full of Porsche Cayennes and BMWs.And every now and then you turn off at a roundabout into a random bit of the grid which is 40mph (as I did once on a driving lesson)
