Marsdendean well, its an Auto IS200, and its a 70L tank. So, even if its £1L thats £70, and if i drive it on cruse control on motoways then the max i have had is 330 mile, but on the trip, i doubt everyone will be at one set speed (lots of flybys with loads of pictures being taken etc)

Like everyone says, the only bad thing about the IS is the fuel, my dads GS H does better MPG, and its nearly twice as quick to 60, and has 25mph+ top speed
:laugh:u have a 70l tank....thats more than mine.....my gs has a 60l tank./// and when fill ,it will take me 296 miles....:Chair:any way in europe the use km and in the uk we use miles so u'll be ok mate:Mobile:

I'd be interested in the 'ring trip, I was gonna go on the Nurburgring 700 next year anyway. The swiss bit sounds ace but I will be looking at Bandit-levels of fuel costs as my car is pretty much 14-18mpg all day Smile Plus I'm going to Le Mans next year as well...

One thing worth remembering is that you cannot book whether you'll be on the upper or lower deck of the tunnel train, and some cars (mine!) can't get up the ramp onto the upper floor, it's too steep for my front bumper. Whenever we go to Le Mans we always take the ferry for this reason.

Plus aren't there laws in Switzerland about heavily modified cars?

Toxo the only laws really count on the locals but like the UK have noise guides to keep in.
Only thing you need to drive in Switzerland is the Vignette this is a road tax and is valid for a year.

Gord Yep when you drive up to board the train, just ask to go on the bottom

This year on the way going we were all at the bottom of the train. On the way back, Lee and I were behind the others and the train people sent us to the top. Luckily we were ok, but it was a bit touch and go in the S2000 which is a low car anyway and it has a front lip. Next time I would just say I deffo want to go on the bottom!
