Yeah, I realise I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and get it fixed myself. Will probably get Lexus to do it, because although they'll charge more, they did some great bodywork repair on my car before, and also replacing the windscreen is something people have had trouble with (water leaks) in the past.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

It was def worth a shot though Steve you never know till you try!! Do the Lexus garage you use have their own bodyshop? I know some garages use specific local bodyshops to do their work so may be worth finding out if that is the case and go direct to save some money?

Yeah they have their own bodyshop, which they share with the Toyota garage.

I'm surprised and disappointed they didn't sort it for you, but agree that its just something you're going to need to get done. Hope it isn't costing too much to rectify.

Do Lexus agree on any warrenty work these days.

I thought they wanted to be a leading edge company with customers satifaction.

There are to many issues these days that they do nothing about.

No wonder Ford are currently the leading quality company out there, With the Japanese dropping from there strangle hold of the last 10+ years.

I'm not sure, my dealer was always great with warranty stuff but last time I made a warranty claim was back in 05 so no idea how things work now.

Steve, did you try any other dealerships? Some bodyshops may not even question it and do it and then send the bill to Lexus. If it's not too far for you might be worth taking it to Woodford and speaking to Sean, he's always been pretty decent with my car.
