If you get a saw or a grinder with a thin blade and cut a slot into it you can then use a straight screw driver and loosen the bolts.
Also the reason the car uses more fuel is the charger saps power from the engine to run the charger..
Ie the merc slr's charger saps 150bhp from the engine to turn it..

TTE supercharger,pr0lex manifold,hks fcd,larger intercooler,apexi induction kit,silicone hose kit,IK22's,polished engine parts,TTE front bumper mod'd for intercooler,TRD side skirts,TRD rear lip,JDM headlights and fogs,10k hid headlights 8k full beam,L8XSS p/plate,fog/brake/light conversion,18"fox rs's,lowered 90mm(f)100mm®,moleys under bars,yellow trd anti rollbars,full stainless exhaust,carbon fiber intake plus so much more

Bandit Here you go mate....this is how mines wired in?

The Red wire from the FCD just T's into the Black with red stripe
The Black wire from the FCD T's into the White wire with Black stripe
The Yellow wire goes towards the ecu to a Green wire with Red stripe, the green wire you have to cut!!
The White wire from the FCD goes away from the ecu to the other end of the Green wire with the Red stripe..

Hopefully that's understandable

chris thats not the nice soldering job i did last time i did on it at my house mate

Hopefully see you or/and Bandit on tunnel runs. Maybe one of you can jump in passenger seat for a quick ride if there is some time to check its upto standard compared to the other charged IS's?

Its a good night also, and thanks bandit, been a top help! Smile
