My Black 202 Supra
My Black 202 Supra
Nakita has been back on the road a few days now...
What an exciting few days... Trip up to buy some new Bomex side skirts.
Over to my mates wedding
Trip up to see Samantha, Matt and Vikki and a Milton Keynes run.
Then over to my grandads... To show off its new look..
Then this happens.
Complete tire blowout coming off of dual carriageway roundabout... Fishtailing and nearly taking out a Clio in the process.
Got to a stop point... Changed on to the spacesaver...
And it was flat!!
So I had to get my sister to bring me out a pair of my old GS300 wheels..
Doesn't look good but its home safe.
The purple cake was the best bit!
fun weekend to be had then!
It was a fun weekend by all apart from the unwanted sideways action
Purple velvet cake was awesome Sam
Update...
Had the two rear tires replaced after the blowout. Polished up the rear wheels again and put her back on the road.
The next major thing I wanted to tackle was the interior.
As some of you may know... The supras carpet was in a poor condition. It was missing sections.. Cut up in weird places and generally in a poor state.
So I picked up Sam's old cream carpet... Gave it a good clean then dyed it midnight black. Really happy with the results.
Before
New cream carpet straight out of Sachi-
First layer of Midnight Black dye-
Second layer-
3rd layer
Didn't know how much I was going to need... So I bought a 5ltr bottle
Didn't need it all lol.
The freshly dyed carpet in Nikita-
And now all interior back in.
I've now ordered some tailored mats to compliment the rest of the interior... Black mats with leather trim.
Should be here by Thursday.
Thanks for looking.
Also took it to a local Classic and Herritige show.
Here's a couple of pics of Nakita.
What a great job done!
Looks good mate, carpet is a decent job as well
