Something hit my screen yesterday, didn't look like there was any damage but noticed today that there's a small crack in it. Is this the sort that's repairable or will I need a new screen for this one? Going to call insurance after the weekend to get it sorted anyway but just wondered how bad it is (sorry about the awful pic, just a quick snap off my phone)

Looks like a reliable one to me. Get it done soon though because they can spread.

Looks like one I had in my IS200 Sport. The guy from Autoglass said he would try and repair it but when he attempted to pull the vacuum before injecting the resin the cracks started to spread. Had to have a new front screen. Hope you don't have to, but tbh yours looks a little worse than mine was.

IS 200 Sport with a few mods, Standardish IS-F. The IS250 SE-L with a few mods has gone to a new home.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

That doesn't sound good, hopefully that doesn't happen. Haven't measured how far it is from the edge of the screen but other than that seems to meet the criteria for a repair so I hope it gets done without needing a replacement.

Cheers Cameron, I think it's roughly 15mm, and it is on the passenger side pretty much bang on the 6cm from the edge of the screen that autoglass states. So it's going to be a bit 50/50 as to whether it's repairable or not - are autoglass the best to go with?

Also it says on the Admiral site that I have to go through them or the cover is limited, is that true or made up? And finally if I do need a new screen is it best to go to an autoglass centre?

Here's a slightly better pic of it from the inside:
