Ok small update. Car is currently at Pacific Works having full polybush kit fitted, new bottom ball joints and new drop links. They are also going to take a look at the engine idling issues, so hopefully it will be running nicely when it comes back to me.

The wheel refurb is going ahead slowly, i have 2 done, and when the car comes back ill get the other 2 started. The front splitter is painted ready to fit, as is the engine bay cross brace. I have had my 20mm wheel spacers modified to work with the standard centre bore. So this little list of bits will be fitted soon.

I also have an EL-Glo dial kit on its way from america, hopefully i'll have that before too long.

Well it’s been a long time since i updated anything here, so lets catch you up on what’s been going on.
Just before xmas the car came off the road, and is still sitting in the garage awaiting its new goodies.

So onto the plans ahead:
Engine
I had issues with the engine, with is having problems starting from cold, misfiring and other issues. I managed to pick up a low mileage engine and box (50,000) for a bargain £200. This had the waterpump and timing belt removed when I got it, so a good excuse to replace with shiny new parts. Upon stripping the box off I discover the clutch was dead, so add a new clutch to the list. The plan is to get this engine tarted up a bit and drop it in for the year ahead.

Suspension

The car has already had polybushes, bottom ball joints and arb droplinks, now time for some new shocks. I managed to jump on board a group buy for a nice set of BC coilovers. These will come with adjustable top mounts on the front and fixed rubber rears. I have also managed to pick up the correct 19mm turbo ARB’s to finish the suspension off nicely.

Bodywork
Ok so i have a greddy style front lip, also just picked up some bomex bonneville skirts. To smarten up the front end i also have a set of Rogue rev 6 low rise lights

Wheels
I started to refurb the is200 alloys, but I have decided I don’t want them on there anymore, so they will be sold once I have finished the refurb. Instead I am going to get the set of kahns refubed in bronze. I have a nice set of nearly new falkens to go on once the refurb is complete.

Misc
Other bits and pieces that I have waiting to go on include a nice set of speedhut el-glo dials in black/red

So the list of parts either on the car or waiting to be fitted
