)ive also read that a thicker oil may help, as thinner oil may seep through the seals, i dont really think this is the case, however bit coincidental that this started a while after i changed to a thinner oil !
Anyone with any other suggestions?!

Ok been meaning to post this up for a while, been getting a dark greyish/black smoke on cold start ups now and again, after a few revs it clears up.....having done a little reading around it seems that it could be the valve seals or the pcv valve (positive crankcase ventilation). With the latter being a couple of quid part i think i will replace it to see if helps, can anyone point me in the direction of where how i can get to it pics would be great if possible (hint hint Ormi )

im using 5-30 which is with within the 'acceptable range' of grade and the recommendation of opie.....there are others that are using it too so dont really think its an issue?
