By the way, the refurb guys didn't tell WIM there was any problem with fixing the dent in the rim, so I'm assuming that's all sorted with no problem. Will find out soon !

They look familar Big Grin

That dent was even worse before my mate put it back into better shape with a lump hammer - it was fine though Smile Look forward to seeing how they come out - looks like Chris or his mrs put a bit of kerb rash on there too!

Didn't realise the dent used to be even worse before ! Hopefully will be going to pick them up today ! Still need to re-fit the plastic "screws", I took them off myself before the refurb and have cleaned them up.

Woo-hoo !

Picked up the wheels (shod with new Toyo Proxes T-1Rs) from WIM/Blackboots. They look like new, I couldn't tell which was the rim with the dent.

Haven't put them on yet, I'm going to sort out putting the plastic "screws" back in, new stickers on them (TTE) etc.

Will post photos once I get them all done.

Lexusboy Steve how much do WIM charge for refurbs?

£65 plus VAT for standard (it was more for the dented rim).

Not got them on the car yet, but have started putting in the black plastic "screws" around the rim. Harder work than I imagined, because there's some bits of debris in the holes which needs cleaning out before I can fit the screws in properly !

Still, here's the first wheel done :

New black Ultralite valves :

And it looks like the dent here, shown before :

has turned into this, after refurb - it's the only very slight imperfection in the rim which I can spot, so I presume this is it (hard to spot even in this close-up photo !) :
