Marsdendean All our shell near us and Tesco use this fuel, its either that or v power.

Can't agree with parth thou,I tend to drive everything flat out, more power just means quicker!!!!

not always true,

On the way back from Switzerland, terry drove flat out all the way, we stuck to the speed limit (sometimes well below because of heavy rain) and had several good stops, and were only 30 mins later at the tunnel, indeed at one point we were ahead of them. So 30 mins over 8 hours aint that bad, goes to show speeding is not necessary to make just as good progress.

I think as you get older and boy am i old:laugh: I leave for work in the morning and take my time to get into work.
If i was to drive flat out then i may make 2-3 minutes over the 12 miles i travel to work, so for me it not worth racing as you are harder on your car and on your wallet.

Maybe thats why i get 25 mpg but horses for courses.....:thumbup1:

It's 114p unfortunately, if I go a bit further get to a Morrisons and Sainsburys which is cheaper but can't really be bothered, plus I prefer using Shell out of the three.

Lol, to be fair I'd like to be driving flat out in whatever I'm driving too, but in London it's pretty hard to get a more powerful car flat out that often

2tongues I have!!!

The Prius gets on average 51mpg on Tesco fuel and 53mpg on Shell. Thats with my normal everyday drive so a fair comparison. On the way to JAE with a fully loaded car A/C and blowers on, stereo loud, all lights on etc it did 56mpg because of the slow moving traffic. Can't complain.

OK 2mpg isn't that much but as they say every little helps!!

Indecently the MR2 runs better on Tesco High Octane fuel then Shells or BP's.

Mate the a/c on your car isn't like others, yours is powered straight from the high voltage battery and not belt driven like other cars.
Having your a/c on has no affect on mpg on the prius.

TTE supercharger,pr0lex manifold,hks fcd,larger intercooler,apexi induction kit,silicone hose kit,IK22's,polished engine parts,TTE front bumper mod'd for intercooler,TRD side skirts,TRD rear lip,JDM headlights and fogs,10k hid headlights 8k full beam,L8XSS p/plate,fog/brake/light conversion,18"fox rs's,lowered 90mm(f)100mm®,moleys under bars,yellow trd anti rollbars,full stainless exhaust,carbon fiber intake plus so much more

I know that but it does have an effect because it runs the traction battery down, therefore eventually there will be an effect on gas mileage - there is no such thing as free energyWink but your right it has far less effect then a traditional A/C system.

well not really as when your poodling along backing off the throttle braking etc that charges/regenerates the battery more than what the a/c uses the only time this is wrong is when your not moving the engine will kick in sooner than without it on...
your lights stereo etc are powered by the 12v battery.....
