Msg from Rogue Motorsport about their MR2 entry.

Rogue Just a quick update:- The team completed a seven hour test session at Bruntingthorpe at the weekend during which time the car performed exceptionally. Power, handling and braking are all absolutely amazing and the only area that we need to improve on is night lighting.

No photos yet as the car was running with it's spare body fitted and it's a bit on the tatty side. Freshly painted panels are being fitted today as we prepare the car for transport to Silverstone on Wednesday.

Thursday is test day with day and night qualifying on Friday. The 24 hour race begins at 16:30 on Saturday...

Disagree Smile The MK2 makes no sense for motorsport. The MK3 has a better designed chassis, is lighter, and you can still shoehorn all the important engines in there without compromise.

hope it handles better than ours did, it was utter rubbish - it lasted 6 months before being swapped for something that worked properly.

I dunno how this particular car has been set up (yet) but the previous attempt was personally set up by Tein UK's chief engineer so I imagine it handled pretty well :lol: We shall see Smile

The MK3 MR2 has a far superior chassis, it will run circles round a SW20 on handling and pure nimbleness.
