Then in the afternoon i headed off to Bruntinthorpe proving ground for a drive day,....in this!

got 4 laps of the circuit and topped out at 172mph on the straight, absolutely loved it!!!!!!!!!! only thing i had difficulty with was the paddle shift, as they stayed in one place trying to change up mid corner was a ball ache, but stil loved it none-the-less
a few other cars that were there......

then to top the whole weekend off i converted £2 into £40 betting Blackpool would beat Liverpool 2-1

The drive day went well then.
Most super cars drivers really don't seem to like the paddle shift systems, more so in traffic and on small inclines.
That Blackpool result did seem like a great result but Liverpool have been rubbish this season.

but not actually being out driving it im not sure how it really works, from what i gather is once your in first your going nowhere until you accelerate, so no roll back on inclines, but could be wrong

id love it if the paddles had of followed the steering wheel, making mid corner gear changes easier,

Problem with having the paddles on the steering wheel is that it makes them hard to use on the road, on track your hands are always in the same place on the wheel, but on the road they're not so makes it easier to have the paddles fixed so you always know where they are.
Even if not though, just take one hand off the wheel to flick the paddle! :tongue_smilie:
