Ok, today it was a long day. In the morning i went to the exhaust shop to install the EGT and AFR sensors. Both sensors were installed before the sport catalyst. Now I did not fit the EGT sensor on the 6th cylinder (as i know the gases on this cylinder are hotter than the others), because the technician from the exhaust shop proposed it would be better to fit the EGT sensor prior the catalyst so as i will have a reading from all cylinders and not from one only. Also if i was going to fit the sensor on the 6th cylinder he said he had to remove the manifold to drill the hole properly, which was a lot of work since the compressor had to be removed. so i decided to install the egt sensor prior the catalyst. If i do not get accurate readings i will move it to 6th cylinder.

In the afternoon i did all the wiring work. I installed all the wiring and connected the power supply. It was not so easy as i thought. I had to remove the radio-cd to pass the cables and also the dismantle the short shift to pass throught the cables from the sensors. At the end the result was very good. Here are some pics of the gauges working at the garage, after returnig from a ride.

During driving the AFR was around 15.6 and 16.8. The EGT temperature indicated 75-89 (x10). Now i think i set it to show celcius and not fahrenheit, but i will check again tomorrow morning. Both readings were indicated at a speed between 140-200km/h.

i think 1 ltr should be enough.
at least with my kaaz lsd 1 ltr is - just fill it up until oil comes out of the filler hole (when the diff is mounted at the car)

i controlled it with a measuring cup the last time Wink

One more part added. In order for my upgrade to be successful I needed larger fuel injectors. So after some search and with the help of my friend Tom I managed to get a set of 2ZZGE yellow fuel injectors. They are rated at 310cc, which i believe is adequate for the bhp i am aiming(260-270bhp). Furthermore the resistance is almost the same with the IS, about 12.5 ohm which i believe is ok. Also i have found out that the OEM plugs will fit on the new fuel injectors and also that I will not need any adaptors to fit the injectors on the motor. I hope I am correct. We will see. I will keep informed when the time comes to install them. Here is a pic of how they look:

i managed to get another two fuel injectors. So now i have a full set for the motor. Total cost was 180USD. Very good price for anyone who wants to upgrade to larger injectors. Of course the destination was USA.

A good search is usa celica forum
