You've got to be kidding.......
You've got to be kidding.......
Driving to work this morning, got stuck in some pretty heavy traffic on the A406 but you'll never guess what was causing it........it was three separate cars that had broken down and somehow left on the right lane of the carriageway all within the space of about 5 miles!
Now if you pull up at a set of lights and the car breaks down, I sort of understand you're stuck there, but on a dual carriageway doing 50mph - engine dies, simply coast on and pull up somewhere, preferably on the left!
What made it worse was that the second car had one of those big yellow trucks with the flashing lights behind it telling you to move left (like when there are roadworks) - so instead of bringing a tow truck or something to pull the car clear, someone decided it was a good idea to park that truck there! Totally insane!
By the time I got to the third car I was wondering if this was some kind of joke as I couldn't believe it.............
You have the most amazing car stories Parthiban, you really should start a blog, it will make for fascinating reading and even though it's not really funny for you, the way you write the posts makes me laugh
^^ I too love the way he puts a story together, he can make a drama sound like a comedy, Keep it up Parthiban, like sam said start a daily commuting blog.

Next instalment.......
Driving along this morning when a police 4x4 pulls in from the slip road with siren/lights on, lift off to let him go ahead (wish I hadn't now) and he puts the "Do not overtake" sign on the back........ok so all three lanes are now crawling behind him at 30mph, until we get to, yes you've guessed it, another broken down car in the right lane!
This one was even worse as it was literally yards from the next exit, so I'm sure he could have coasted off if he really wanted to. Anyhoo, the police car then proceded to stop all three lanes of traffic as they attached the car and towed it off - to be fair to them they had it all done in about 10 mins but closing the A406 for 10 mins is enough to create a fairly big jam.
Would have taken some pics to share my pain with all of you but didn't want to get arrested for using a mobile phone
