The later MK2.5 had this fitted but the earlier NA1 and NA2 did not.

if you decide on a 5 make sure you get a mesh put over the front intake for the radiator as stones have a nasty habit of puncturing the radiator and causing overheating, and for some reason this warps the alloy head and blows the head gasket,

Your in the exact same position im in, if my car ever gets declared a write off then im straight out to buy a 5.Sarah actually gave in the other day and said i could buy a 5 if i want, went straight to the mazda garage before she changed her mind! No mk1's as they said they are just too old for them to stock but they did have a not bad mk2 there! Sarah doesn't like the driving position but thats becasue she is used to the lexus. Still looking for a nice one but i will probably end up keeping the lex to be honest as i can never find the perfect one!

LEXUS IS200 - The most fun car to go sideways
RX7's are one of my favourite cars mate, but keep in mind their engines need a lot of care. I know that most of the RX7 engines (mkIII) break after 40000 miles due to pure treatment from their owners. A second disadvantage is the high fuel consumption. But apart from that it is very unique and fun car to have.
