Well it seems to be a done deal.....
Well it seems to be a done deal.....
Got the call from lexus
they have a 2006 1.9cdti SRI [150] 5 door on 84k miles, with full XP bodykit and 17" alloys, Royal Blue (almost black tbh)
insurance works out to be £600 cheaper than the lex, that includes 3 free modifications (remap/HID/Springs)
finance is £36 a month better
MPG on book is 50mpg, all owners and various searches indicate 42mpg+ even when booting it (my lex only does 39mpg driving nicely
so saving total of around £120-£140 a month,
there gunna swap my parrot kit over for free and look to change cars again in 18 months
cant say no really (well i can but i dont want to!)
It will take some time to adjust to Astra. Can't believe they only give you 42mpg? that does sound poor.
well needs must mate - and dont worry about it going well, remap to 200bhp will be done end of december as a xmas pressy to myself
running costs just getting ridiculous, until im gettin paid more theres more importnat things than a high spec executive car
never know i may land that dream job with a car supplied
Thought you were getting something German? Have no experience of vauxhalls but the astras with the VXR kit do look quite cool
As long as it doesn't fall to pieces all should be well
cheers guys,
cant wait for the 24th, i have a sneaking suspicion my EGR is fookered on the LEX so im not getting full power and quite possibly never have been.....plus its needs taxing end of October which ill leave for the stealers to do
will change again in 18 months anyway
