Just check the level of the fluid in the resevoir. If its low top it up. To Bleed the power steering system do the following.

Half turn to left
Half turn to right
Full lock left
Full lock right

Repeat this 4-5 times and it will re bleed the system. If it still squeals after this it may be time for a new set of belts

^^ as pete said if there is a squeal it is probably the belts that need changing.
I would not think it needs bleeding as you are turning the steering on a daily basis whilst driving.
Ref the judder, I would defo change the fluid as when it gets dirty and old the viscosity increases/thickens. I have experienced this effect on many cars, especially when cold and generally disappears after 20-30 sec. Just change the oil and flush out with new PAS fluid.
Dont be surprised by the colour and smell of the old oil that comes out, a good indication that the pas oil needs changing is a black dirty film inside the plastic reservoir.

it can be a meesy job if your not careful, all you need to do is disconnect the return?low pressure pipe that comes from the rack, put this pipe into a suitable container to catch old oil, start car and the pas pump will pump the old oil into the container,
whilst doing this keep the reservoir topped up with new oil as the level drops, it may take a good 3 or 4 litres to effectively flush the whole system.
Tips,,,
oil will come out of reservoir when you disconnect return pipe,
change the oil when the engine is warm as the engine rpm will be low, if you change it when cold the rpm will be high and pump the oil at such a high rate and you might be able to keep up.
Refit pipes and then turn steering L/R a couple of times to bleed.
Road test, check for leaks and security of pipe and recheck fluid level
Job done.
You may find the squeal has also stopped as thge fluid in now more viscous and will flow better when cold, so putting less load on to the pulley, hence the squeal

ohh forgot to add, when you disconnect pipe from reservoir you need to plug the reservoir to stop oil p**ing out, I use a bit of old heater hose with an old spark plug shoved into the end
