but people do fit fans to the engine lid to draw the heat out i had them on mine for a few weeks before i sold them..

Now obversely this is needed for the MR2 due to the engine located at the back but my point is that cars do have them
What car is it going on ?
Where is the intercooler located ?
If its a front mount intercooler and its in front of your radiator your radiator fan will do the job for you
