iOS / Froyo / WM7..............
^^ yeah i use excel extensively for finances and stuff, dates of direct debits etc,
use powerpoint alot at work,
even if the office sutie was basic it would still be good for even just viewing the files i get through on email,
the microsoft exchange would be better aswell for emails as i could link my phone straight up,.........**** iphone wont do it so gotta use web exchange which is a ball ache
the only reason i wont get an iphone now is cus i dont like the handset, OS wise i like it
search youtube for windows phone 7 versus iphone, they come out pretty equal, (considering the WM7 they are using is a prototype)
theres also a WM7 v Froyo v IOS test on web browser, and windows phone is much better at scrolling/zooming but was a little slower on loading (again its only prototype)
In terms of viewing files you'll have no problems on any of them I'm sure, definitely on android I can view documents and the formatting isn't altered or anything. I don't need to edit them but if you did there are apps available.
I believe that exchange support has been sorted on android now as well, but of course in both these cases I would assume the Microsoft device will do it all better (in the same way that android will work better with google accounts than the others)

You can edit Office docs to a certain extent on Windows Phone, not just view them.
