Me personally im acquiring a spare 1GGTE engine and i'm going to spend the winter months rebuilding it completely.
Nothing special added except ARP head bolts, just fresh gaskets and cleaning everything and making it look smart and tidy. Then swap it over early next year so ive got a fully rebuilt "reliable" engine.
Obviously if i find some spare cash then uprated parts may find their way in there but we'll see as we go along.
Anyway when ive started i'll start a new thread about the rebuild but:
What are everyone elses winter projects? and why you doing them?

All i've got planned is to try and polish up the charger pipes and maybe the charger as well.
So nothing much to tell the truth

Moley Stav whats wrong with you're old engine ??
Nothing mate, but ive never had a full rebuild, whereas if i fit a fully rebuilt one technically i can turn the boost up on it a bit and it'll handle it better, remember there a 20 year old engine.

Not got anything planned for mine so far, have thought about stripping it and starting again?? maybe get it the bonnet sprayed up so its tidy(ish) then sell it and go for another Skyline? :blink:
