Stav would it not be worth stripping your new engine down and building it with a fully forged set up?? Just seems a lot of work to do just to re-build it in the future....seems to me like you will end up doing it at some point. Even if it takes you 12months coz of the extra cost, surely your current engine will hold up that long??

My plans are underway, ARB's, front end body work, some A/V work I am starting next week. Wheels are getting re-furbed too. And depending on cash flow, getting some secret-ish stuff done to the engine. But that depends on whether I decide whether in the long term if will do an engine swap. So hoping for big things next year!!!!

You don't really need to go fully forged on the 1G-GTE unless you want to start pushing it over 500 bhp ...

Stevie has a point there, no need to spent loads of money unless if you want push over 500bhp, but then it would be better to fit a 1JZGTE or 2JZGTE engine

Fitted new rear Arb yesterday. Got engine mounts to fit, along with Oil change and some smaller bits and bobs. That'll be done next weekend so then time for a new idea lol.

Was Supercharged Racing Green IS200 Sport. Now APR Stage 1 Seat Leon Cupra (220 Bhp).

Well i just want a safer engine to be able to hammer and maybe get a little more power from.
remember as well i will have the engine i take out still Wink and no rush to put that in so the sky could be the limit for it.

Your engine plans sound very interesting!
