on the emanage blue. when running injectors under 400cc it can cycle at low revs so it's quite stable but if your going to run large injectors then you need the ultimate so you can cycle them at low revs. i'm running a blue with 315 injectors and this set up works very well. as to injectors i have had the head boarded out with a dremil to take the larger injectors and this works very well. plenty of metal to play with on the head and running good. but will be replacing the injectors and ecu next year for more power

steviewevie Sure, the GReddy Blue can't take out fuel, but other than that it seems not dissimilar to the AEM FIC, as far as I can see. The GReddy Ultimate wiring harness has a lot more connectors than the FIC, and allows you to advance the ignition timing (not just retard it like the FIC), and tons of functions that I just can't see in the instructions for the FIC. Maybe I missed some stuff though ?

As i have stated in this thread i am entering a field that i do not know so much about aftermarket ecu and this is the reason i have written which ecu i am thinking to get so i can hear your opinions and avoid if necessary this part and get another. Now i have not searched a lot the emanage ultimate since i thought to buy an ecu that is already used from other members in the club. As you stated already rabster has the same ecu and he is willing to help me with the wiring setup. it is better to go with something that has already been tested and works fine. In my setup i believe the AEM FIC would work ok since i want to keep the current setting of the oem ecu and just use a piggyback ecu for the fueling. Also i think this ecu is good toy for begginers that have no experience in this field. Furtheremore AEM has a good feedback support so i believe i will have all the help i need from them. This ECU has been used in many IS300 with more than 300bhp so for the bhp i want to obtain it is more than good. Lastly i have read many post in my.is forum from owners than have used AEM FIC and Greddy Emanage Ultimate. Some were pleased with the Greddy and other not. The same was written for the AEM. So at the end of the day no ecu is perfect for the setup of your car. It is just error and trials until you find the optimum ecu for your car.

Thanks for your feedback mate. I thought greddy blue cannot handle correct the extra fuel at low revs so at idle rpm the A/F will be rich. Am i correct?

I certainly wasn't trying to disagree with the choice of the AEM F/IC for your project dimis, perhaps I didn't come across very well. I was just commenting on the features of various piggyback ECUs.

I think that by far the most important thing is to choose an ECU that your chosen mapper is happy to work with, something that I'm sure you're well on the case for.

Today I installed in the gauge cluster the stainless steel dials. I can say that the fitment was not so easy as i thought.
