First of all - Hi guys, As you can probably see I'm new here :o

Anyway, I'm looking to swap my boot (painted in 202) with flat spoiler and brake light, for a boot+high spoiler also painted in 202.

Here;s my one:

that company is based 2 miles from me and they don't allow pickup, well annoying, I wanted a strut brace from them and they want £9 delivery when I can just walk down for it, lol

Yeah my problem is that I cant just simply bolt on a new spoiler. As I've got the flat one at the mo, i've heard that ts bolted, bonded, screwed and sealed on to the boot and won't come off without needing the boot resprayed Sad

Your right the oem spoiler is bolted in place and none of the bolts line up with the spoiler you want. The best way to Di the swap is to swap boot lids. The problem with filling hills and painting is filler sinks over time, so you end up with a poor finish. The other option is to weld up the holes but then you run the risk of warping the metal and a bigger problem.

Would be easier I'd imagine to just swap or find a plain bootlid and then get the high spoiler separately.........

Yes if you remember to get the 2 support brackets at either end of the spoiler, and then line up the 4 bolt holes correctly. They are set a little bit further in then expected. Oh not forgetting the hole for the electric cable if you are lucky enough to get the very rare high level break light.
