Well it seems they might be more desperate for a sale than they originally stated - someone called me yesterday and asked me what I wanted to make the deal more interesting for me........so said I'd need a cost to change of £25k before I'd even start to think about it........let's wait and see what they come back with :tongue_smilie:

I'm not serious about it so if you want it go for it - potentially if you give them a slightly better offer than I did they might go for it as the lesser of two evils
Actually just noticed there's a Sep 09 car with 11k miles on the approved site for £34k which makes their price of £31k for an Apr 08 with 30k miles a bit rubbish - there's definitely more negotiating room then

Cheers for the tips, it's all pretty speculative at the mo but I'll bear that in mind - I'm still sort of wondering whether it's better to buy something like this or spend the same money on an older 911 or similar........

We were glad to sell the Porsche on in the end....... But still pleased to have had a couple of them.

Not necessarily a Porsche but something of that ilk - but yeah a Porsche will be more to run but I don't do major miles so hopefully wouldn't be a massive issue. Are they pretty good in terms of reliability? I also imagine servicing at a Porsche dealer must cost a fair bit more than a Lexus service too :biggrin:

Good to know, 997 turbos are probably a bit out of reach for me so it would probably be a C2S or C4S perhaps.
