A customer is offering his WRX for £1200, bargin but what is there to look for on an old car like his, I think it is a "T" reg. I wouldn't mind it as a 2nd car run around.

No insurance is easy!! I'm 35 (feel 55 at the moment) with a clean license and no points, besides the Lex is only £500 all mods declared.

yes and got it for £600 as the intercooler needed replacing had a golf ball sized hole in it. Insurance £390 (A-Flux, I really meant it when I said SKY will loose my business for messing me around) a bit steep but OK for a run around whilst I decide what to do with the LEX, keep/sell/convert to LHD (an interesting project)???.

Yea an oil burner will be needed BUT if it can be converted to LHD for a small cost I'll keep it and get a Diesel for work etc.,

So many options at the moment just don't know what to do to be honest. The Scooby is a **** car though well worn and abused, a good polish and repair of some interior bits and onto Ebay I think.

Ever tried to rive a RHD in a LHD country for any length of time, it REALLY hurts your neck and is not that safe unless you have a passenger to look at the junctions for you.
