dimis Well as i wrote above i managed to find at a good price a set of 1GGTE rods and pistons. Here are some pics the seller send me. Hopefully i will have them some time next week and I hope they are ok once i measure them. Next step now is to find a good aftermarket ECU and set of bigger injectors. Also I decided to get an AEM EGT gauge for the triple gauge pod. EGT togeher with the A/F is a good combination for better tuning of the engine.

Hello!
prompt from any engine with 1g-GTE fit connecting rods and pistons to 1g-fe.
I was in Russia built a turbo 1g-fe, and a desire to increase the boost.

I apologize for my very bad English Smile

Hello and welcome !

I'm not completely sure I understand your question. But the pistons and rods from the 1G-GTE engine (Supra MkIII JDM Turbo) fit straight into the 1G-FE engine. The 1G-GTE pistons have a lower compression ratio than the 1G-FE pistons, so are ideal if you want to turn up the boost. Plus the 1G-GTE rods are stronger than the 1G-FE rods. You don't need to bother with the crankshaft, since they're exactly the same on both engines.

Thank you!
You have correctly understood me!
supra MK3 1989-1993 year? I just said that from the 1986-1988 model year cranks will not work. Because we crank pin 44mm, 42mm and there.
Is this true?

Can I create my theme? Smile

I think you are right. Looking at it, the cranks for the earlier model have a slightly different part number, I didn't realise that.

I have no idea myself what the difference is, but if you think it's the crank pin then you may have more information than me on this.

In this case, all right, but that's the problem) I have in Moscow or in Russia, it is very hard to find this engine later, you have it? And if it is no secret how much cost the six connecting rods and pistons?
I would be very grateful if you would help me with the purchase of these parts.

The problem is that you can't buy these rods and pistons new from Toyota any more. So you have to find a used car/engine for sale.

I have these rods and pistons in my own engine, yes. I found an engine on eBay. They do come up from time to time.

The fact that they are not released and should be supported by search engine is obvious to meSmile
The fact that I can right now to go buy a 1G-GTE engine assembly for $ 800, but it is expensive I think so, and do not know exactly what he's been.

And one more question, I can not figure out how to add a picture on your avatar.

ok, sorry if I misunderstood.

It might be best if you start a new thread on this, because we've kind of gone off-topic for dimis's thread here.

I don't think a price of $800 is that bad if you know the engine is in reasonable condition, but if you can't tell the state at all, it's a bit of a risk. It's a lot cheaper than the alternatives (e.g. forged pistons will cost you a lot more).

As for adding an avatar, if you go to the "UserCP" link above, then click on "Edit Avatar" in the list on the left, you will see options to let you upload an avatar from your computer, or use one from the Internet - be aware of the size restrictions though.
