as the title says i recently bought a cat back exhaust but there is no hole for the sensor behind the cat box.

does it need to be fitted or shall i try and get it done.

whats the best way of doing it

any help will be greatful

You can get a hole fitted at an exhaust shop, they should be well used to doing that. Or replace the sensor with an O2 simulator.

Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

You can get a hole fitted at an exhaust shop, they should be well used to doing that. Or replace the sensor with an O2 simulator.

the simulater just makes the car think it has the sensor in it by controlling the voltage and frequencies that are sent back to the ecu heres a link to one on fleabay. and needs soldering into the system.

would it be easier to just drill and weld a thread onto the new pipe

right just spoke to my mate in the metal shop at work this is the info i need so please help me if you can.

1. what is the thread patern

2. what is the thread size i.e 14, 15mm

3. where can i buy some stainless steel to make the thread

any help would be great

They are available on ebay, but any exhaust fabrication company should stock them and be able to fit them for you.
