How the championship can be won -
Alonso
Finishes 1st or 2nd;
Finishes 3rd, 4th or 5th and Webber and Vettel don’t win the race;
Finishes 6th, Webber finishes at most 3rd, and Vettel doesn’t win;
Finishes 7th or 8th, Webber at most on 4th, and Vettel doesn’t win;
Finishes 9th, Webber at most in 5th place, and Vettel at most in 3rd place;
Finishes 10th, Webber at most 6th, and Vettel at most 3rd;
He wins no points, Webber finishes 6th, Vettel at most 3rd and Hamilton doesn’t win the race.
If none of his rivals scores points, then Alonso is F1 world champion.

If tied
Alonso, Webber and Vettel will end the season with equal points if they finish 5th, 2nd and 1st. In such a situation, with 256 points, Vettel and Alonso would have 5 wins each, 2 places 2, 3 place 3. Vettel would become world champion because he finished 4th four times, while Alonso only two times.
