Yep, couldn't believe he was having a go at Petrov, if he's as good as he's supposed to be he should have got past.......
Really happy with the end result, although he's made mistakes (crashing into Button and Webber to name a few) whenever his car has been working he has generally been on another level in terms of pace - he is definitely a multiple champion in the making and thoroughly deserved to win.
Haven't been that tense during a race though since Brazil 2007!

i reckon schumacher could be a dark horse for next year though, a whole break o fhim helping to develope the car and being able to test it instead of doing all the testing on track?

Alonso lost the championship on sheer ignorance, i remember him doing **** at the monaco gran prix, getting himself almost last then complaining that algersuari and buemie wouldnt let him through,.........then that retard commentator legard was like "why dont they let him through, they are not in the ame race"
They were racing for track position and if i was a racing driver i would do my best to not get over taken, wether im vying for a championship place or not, thats racing

^^ That could be true but the safety car lights were out which emans he cannot do that because he is now the safety car setting the pace, once he becomes this everyone else is expeting him to bolt at any moment, not speed up and brake

That's not an offence, once the lights go out the leader becomes the safety car so can set any pace he wants.
The only minor offence was potentially the issue with Lewis where he accelerated and braked as Jambo mentioned, but I think they must have just taken the view that he was heating his tyres so let it go (as it was quite a distance from the safety car line)

Absolutely, if you're not being lapped then you have every right to hold your position and get the best position you can - especially for Petrov, we know he's fighting for his drive and he got a highly commendable 6th place having held the "mighty" Alonso at bay. Deserves his seat just for that :tongue_smilie:
