Blimey that looks brilliant:lol:.......really nice job on them, back to new I'd say!

I'm liking those valves as well Steve........but to hang onto those caps it will be hard:bored:......I've had all types since I've owned the car and the little bu**ers still nick them, drives me mad.

Hey, maybe Rab or Stav can come up with an electrical gadget that runs from another battery (a BIG one), so to shock the little stealing fingers!

Just thought of this fact actually.......The Toyota Prius has a cable inside conduit that runs fron the rear seat area where the batteries are, under the car, to the front electric engine. This cable carries 230 Volts, that'll give you a :Bazza:

Anyway Steve get them wheels on your car and get the pics up.

Thanks Keith. I had the same thought about the valve caps :crying:

They're still not on (though the plastic screws etc have all been refitted now). I dreamed about polishing the new wheels last night. Perhaps I need to get out more ?

Make sure you get a good few coats of a good wheel wax on them to make cleaning easier Smile

Just fitting the wheels (finally !) at the moment. But I had a problem with the second wheel I was doing. Thought I'd broken the stud but in fact I'd stripped the thread of one of the wheels nuts (which are aluminium). Argh, stupid me ! :cursing:

So not sure what to do now, whether to just replace three of the wheels (and keep the fourth OEM one on), or to put them all on and have one nut not done up properly (until I get some more wheel nuts, which I've just ordered).

Oh well, lesson learned (i.e. be very careful with soft aluminium wheel nuts !).

I just rang up Wheels In Motion, and as I suspected, they advised me that it should be fine for me to drive around just with four wheels nuts (given that they're five-stud wheels) temporarily. Although it is an MoT failure issue. I have already ordered up some more wheel nuts though, and hope I can get things all sorted in the next day or two.
