Crashed my IS
Crashed my IS
Question for Jay, but I don't think so.
did u have to go thru insurance? I also had similar damage but looked more severe, I had the body kit done at the same time so did cost more altogether, but to break it down I think it only cost me £300 including new bonnet, and £100 for a new bumper for the chap I bumped
best not to mix summer and winter wheels. they have different braking times as well as softer compounds. as to keep them good for a few years. put them in double black bags and keep them out of the sun. the sun starts the ageing prosess. year i got the best winter tyres out there this year. and the size is why they cost so much. 18" tyres dont come cheap when your using continental tyres. but will sell them after this winter is over and get some new ones

no mate. it's the sun that does the damage. also if there is a lot of salt then a wash before you bag them wont hurt. mounting them year after year wont damage them. but winter tyres only last for about 4 years before the rubber gets hard. then you have the same problem as driving with summer tyres. and if you drive with them when it's warm then the rubber will go as fast as you drive. these are ment for cold only
as in sweden most people buy a extra set of rims just for winter. cheap and small is the way to go. find a set of 16" steels from a toyota and 205/55/16 winter tyres.
Marsdendean The ABS on the IS is shocking when trying to stop. I bet mine takes 10X as long to stop. (and that is being serious)
