Now I've got your attention, does anyone know where i can get a decent set of rubber mats for the IS?

I heard that the OEM ones got recalled, but the ones I've just bought off eBay are just as bad with no eyelets to hold them in position and no anti-slip spikes on the bottom of them.

Add to that, they stink and look like someone cut them with a pair of scissors!

The OEM ones in question were the carpet ones, I've never heard anything about the rubber mats to be honest although they probably had the same problem.

I remember halfords used to do a set of clear rubber mats that people used to put over their carpets but not sure if they still do them.

Aye. First lot are specifically for the IS200/300 and I've heard of people in the US being able to get them from some dealerships for about $90.

The second lot are apparently for ISx50's but also fit the 1st gen 99% perfectly.

I'd imagine that the ISx50 ones would be the easiest to get hold of. I just need to make contact with some dealerships.
