Would be great if members can arrange convoys with others in thuer area and sort meeting points.
HUGE car park, all tarmacked and nice. Pub is happy for us to take over the far end and fill it if we can.
The Carvery Menu ( Carvery is just £9.95 and from those who have eaten there before , they say its pretty good too )
"IF" we can get enough members attending and also pull in some Jap owners from other Forums and Clubs, we could all chip in a £1/2 and then have a function room just for our meet:whistling: I think we would need at least 20 wanting to eat to manage this.
I will also offer up a cool prize on the day for the best car overall at my own expense, though we need impartial judges:ohmy:
I thought if we all met at 1pm, had a chat and a look at our pride and joys, rubbed, wiped, carressed a while (THE CARS THAT IS !) Then we could all eat around 2pm and hand out the prize for best Jap car overall. If some wanted to we could perhaps do a convoy drive, but if enough fancy this I will look at a route for evryone to follow.

what about having a few convoys to a set spot say some leaving from Dartford services etc some leaving from Heathrow have a set time and plan a route so all convoys can join for the last leg traffic and speed dependant
Outlaw Jap Club does not promote dangerous driving or the breaking of the law, if you attend a meet and screw up this will reflect badly on the club and the car scene.
im just other side of the Dartford crossing so its possible for me long ass drive but meets are meets

We used to have meets in Surrey so i guess this is a possible.if we did Surrey we could get people around the London area join in as well as people on the South coast.

And perhaps looking towards Surrey would be a step in making it more appealing / accessable to more members. I am very aware of the current rise in fuel costs so naturally a lot of us will give more thought to that when meets are in mind.
I think first thing to do is find a "venue" that is happy to host the cars in thier car park, does a decent varietyand quality of food and go from there, then look at some potential dates to offer up and see which works out best overall for members.

Yes Ian it is The Grasshopper at Westerham, on the A25. Huge carpark and a regualr meet up place for various car clubs and the pub does promote these kind of events.
