but not the end of the world. For starters you don't need to drop the engine to do a head gasket!! It's a few hundred quid in parts and all doable yourself if you've got the tools and the patience. Chri5 on here did it on his car and he'd never done anything that major before.Enjoy your weekend and start thinking about it again on Monday, is my advice.
First things first, that's bad news but not the end of the world. For starters you don't need to drop the engine to do a head gasket!! toxo And thanks to some genius block redesign on the rev3 mine will crack the block around the water pump before it blows the headgasket!
