You wont go wrong with the Menzerna range. As far as pads, the sonus cutting pad is quite good and you may need this when using a G220. Moving into polishing and finishing pads i like Meguiars and 3M. Due to the design of the 3M, they feel better for being more accurate with getting into tighter areas, but the 3m are slightly softer and compress more easily which is nice on a rotary but on a G220 you might be better with meguiars. You will probably want to consider some spot polishing pads for smaller areas such as bumpers and skirts. For these i do like the sonus ones. You will also find that spot pads on a G220 will offer more cut than a larger pad because you can concentrate on particular areas more often. On a rotary it is the opposite, the larger pads offer more cut as they spread more heat across an area at once. But remember if you do buy any spot pads, you will also need to buy a smaller backing plate as well, and therefore dont forget to draw a black line on that one to so you can check how often it is rotating. Hopefully i have explained this ok, just shout if your now more confused .
