BOOSST I thought they would be somewhere in the 30K range, nothing worth having is cheap after all
We are undecided at present on whether to spend 20k on upgrading the 2nd car or.. move house.. :whistling:
I said move house if I am allowed a large double garage :whistling:

Its shared ownership, so market is VERY strong for them due to no large deposits required, we could pick and choose the buyer in the end.
I've got a brochure for the ct200 already. I've also got a price list but not through it. The brochure is interesting but I think its a pre release one. I was surprised when I read the power ratings though. Its a 1.8 with the hybrid system and total power is iirc 138bhp only. The engine seems very undertuned for reliability as its only about 100bhp.

They could have put the 2.5L Camry Hybrid in the Lexus - that would have worked.
As it stands the Ford Fusion Hybrid would be the car of choice between the 2. In the UK though the Lexus will be a winner.
I went to the launch night Tuesday. Didn't get any pictures it was far too busy for that, had enough of a struggle just to get to sit in it.
Very nice looking car and I'm pleased to say definitely lives up to the Lexus quality/luxury. They had 2 cars on display, I think 1 was the l-SE in a beautiful dark blue but with a not so nice cream leather interior. I'm not sure what model the other was but it was in a dark grey colour similar to the granite sky, one of my favourite colours, and black leather interior. I did get to try out all the seating possibilities, drivers, passengers and rear seat and although it was quite roomy in the front I did find it a bit cramped in the rear. Boot space is surprisingly good considering the batteries are tucked in there somewhere, I could just about see them in the bottom of and to the front of the boot.
Lexus Cantrbury looked after everyone well plying us with champagne and canapés all evening, you wouldn't expect anything less from Lexus. I didn't touch any alcohol of course as I was driving, I left that to my daughter Sarah :drink:
There was also the chance to win 2 tickets to see Kylie at the O2 by guessing how many balloons they had stuffed into an RX350. Needless to say I didn't win :Sulk:

The pictures, Sorry about quality, iPhone for you
The Car itself, SE-L Version.
Engine bay of a yellow one (SE but no difference)
Speedo and Rev counter, red backlight - Sport mode
Power instead of Rev counter, and white backlight - EV mode
View of dash in SE-L with joystick to bottom left. Sat nav ontop of horrible squished dash
Full View of SE-L Dash and front of car.
Boot space. There is a flap which comes up and back seats fold down, although no spare tire, just compressed air and the foam in cans.
Thats all i took. Overall nice car although I don't think it represents the 30k price tag what comes with it, could get an S3 for that? But If its your cup of tea then its a nice car
