Mitsubishi Super VR4
Mitsubishi Super VR4
I think you'll find in post #51 I did state my liking if advans lol
I am even wanting a set for my car
Just that you put dodgy pix up before lol
How low are the vr4 seats???
how can you say the car is finished ???
It will never be finished
lol, ok, ok, i take it back but still
seats? not low, nice and firm and just right
i cant say finished for this one, as if i do anything more i will ruin it, just the running costs and upkeep to look after now, an im still toying with the evo bonnet idea, and when i really can be bothered i will be taking my lights apart again to sort them out. lol
even with them hids in iv taken it away from what the car is.....
this car is standard, no mods, (other then the car pc and head lights and maybe the evo bonnet and exhaust) trust, if i could get my hands on a standard exhaust for this car with the orignal back box i would be putting it on, but this one will have to do.
Are the super vr4 exhausts diffrent to normal vr4 exhausts??
Looking very nice
ahhh heres a place i forgot to update
You've seen the finished results from JAE in the piccies above, but why not give you the "how it got there" part, too?
As with most red cars of a few years old, the paintwork is less red, more pink.
And some quite nasty blemishes in the paint
And generally, as rough as a badger's ass...
So, we enlisted the help of a friend, who's Mitsubishi FTO is a multi-time winner of Show & Shine competitions he's entered
The story starts on a warm, hot, summer's day...
Oh, wait, no. It was a cold, wet summer's day, as usual!
And, as you can see, the paintwork is a bit flat and dull.
So, some masking up was done:
And some clay barring:
Some machine polishing:
And then the rest of the 3-stage process (Cleaner, Sealant, Wax), giving us the before and after:
And finally, after a very long day (11 hours), we were left with a bit of a mess:
And a shiny car with beading and water flowing off it, rather than sitting on it!
And after a well deserved pub grub dinner, came out to see more beading - who can resist a beading shot!?
WOW, its been a while...
nothing much to add to this as it been run as a town driver getting dirty an what not! lol
but toying with adding on my old evo bonnet i had on the galant, as it seems red cars with black bonnets are the in thing at the mo...
oh and a bit of work is needed..... inner rack end/ball joint needs changing an 2 new tyres.
welcome back mate!
