That iPint is mega, they even do an iSnort one now for the coke and ket addicts of this world!

Personally I prefer iPint - but then I like a pint of Stella even more as you can get drunk on that and it makes the women look better!

In terms of the browsing experience I've yet to try anything that matches an iPhone, and I get on with the keyboard even with my fat fingers!

Definitely the best phone I ever had - have to admit I've not been a big fan of the HTC handsets I've had, had one of the Orange branded SPV's at the last place, the big one and now have a Orange branded E650 and think it's a pile of **** to be honest! It's proper lag city but I realise that could be due to the Orange customisations on there.

I brought my sms.db over to v3 of the iPhone software and saw a big speed boost, it had gotten pretty bad with v2 as I've got 5000 messages in there but now it flies again Smile That's always killed my Nokia and SE handsets in the past, in fact I don't think the K850 could go over 1000?

Anyone got an HTC Touch Pro 2 yet ?

They're pretty big but I still like the look of them. The slide-out keyboard feels pretty nice to use, when I had a quick play with a dummy one in a shop (felt better than the Nokia N97).

Looks like Vodafone do them on their business deals. Is there generally any problem getting one of their business contracts if you're just an individual ? Or do they not really care ?

What about the Samsung Tocco Ultra?

http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/shop/mobile-p...?WT.srch=1

I have the Samsung F480 Tocco which is a good phone and has good features and camera, but would like the Ultra as i do get annoyed wth just touch screen.

I really want one with a slide-out keyboard.

Just had a play with an HTC Touch Pro 2 down at my local Vodafone shop. Wow !

Think I'll be getting one from them, although will give my current provider (Orange) a chance to see if they can come up with an even better deal.

N97 is a poor phone..

the screen scratches easily, the touch screen is very poor and unresponsive the symbian os just doesnt cut it at all..

i really wanted this handset but after spending an hour with one using it i decided against. They have also had problems with bugs in the software, switching off, unresponsive and the OVI 'app' store is pretty terrible..

i was also against an iphone initially because of the keyboard but after a few hours its very easy to get used to and there are thousands of apps!

i would seriously say to spend a bit of time playing with one in a cpw or 02 shop..

my only mistake was not getting it sooner!!

the HTC Hero was my other choice but again, very buggy, slow and didnt live upto the hype..

would have waited for the palm pre but havent heard that many good stories form over the pond..

message of the story.. try an iphone!
